This monstrous mini-boss is one of the largest enemies you’ll face in the game and can be found in various locations within the Gerudo Desert region. It includes Toruma Dunes, Southern Oasis, North Dragon’s Exile, and Arbiter’s Grounds.

These are essential for completing the Medicinal Molduga side quest and upgrading your Radiant Armor Set to level 3. How to beat Molduga Zelda Breath of the Wild
Phase One
First, head to one of the Molduga locations in the Gerudo Desert region and watch as it moves around under the sand. As you approach, it will detect your vibrations and charge straight at you, launching you into the air upon impact. But don’t worry, you can still turn the tables on this sand-swimming menace.
One strategy is to go into a glide as soon as you’re launched into the air, then target the Molduga with your bow to activate slow-motion aiming. Use a bomb arrow to stun the Molduga when it’s vulnerable and falls to the ground. Then, take out your weapon and start hacking away at its vulnerable spots. Alternatively, you can stay on a rock to avoid being thrown around like a ragdoll.
Another strategy is to use remote bombs to lure the Molduga with vibrations. It may take a couple of bombs to get its attention and bring it close enough to swallow the bomb. Once it does, detonate the bomb inside the beast as it launches into the air, causing it to fall to the ground in a stunned state. If you accidentally detonate the bomb too soon, no worries – just shoot the Molduga with a bomb arrow to stun it and start hacking away at its weak points.

Phase Two
At some point during the fight, the Molduga will stop retreating into the sand and start swimming on top of it. This is your chance to strike! Use bomb arrows to stun the Molduga and deal damage. You can also use regular arrows at this stage, but using bomb arrows is more effective as it prevents the Molduga from escaping back into the sand.
However, if the Molduga manages to retreat into the sand, don’t panic! Simply repeat the previous steps with remote bombs to lure it back out and start the process over again. With determination and skill, you’ll soon have Molduga Zelda Breath of the Wild defeated and be able to claim your well-earned rewards.
