As you need to explore the nine realms and tussle against all the bosses to progress and unlock new rewards in God Of War Ragnarok. There’s another boss fight in the first chapter of the main story in God of War Ragnarok. Surviving Fimbulwinter, the challenge in the main story puts you in one of the toughest boss fights against The Huntress. The Huntress from Midgard challenge can be tricky at times. She has many attacks and moves that will trouble you.
You will also receive a couple of rewards and XP for Kratos after defeating the Huntress. With the best weapons and moves, you can defeat her in the game. The Huntress can attack faster and her ranged attacks are explosive. It is a mandatory boss fight in the game. The Huntress or popularly known as horned deer centaur is one of the best boss fights in the game. God Of War Ragnarok – The Huntress Boss Fight Guide and Strategy
Visit her realm and initiate the battle after spotting her. The Huntress has massive explosive attacks and ranged moves that will stun Kratos. Kratos and Atreus must get enough weapons to battle against the deer centaur Huntress. You can go with Leviathan Axe, Spartan Rage, Bow and Arrows, Atreus’ Arrows, and other rage effects to avert all her massive income damage.
Stage 1
The Huntress is an aggressive boss and she attacks vehemently right from the start. Most of her attacks can be dodged and blocking her moves or effects is not going to help Kratos and Atreus as her attacks are sure to knock both of them down in a second. The Huntress unleashes her arrow attacks and projectiles, you will be able to observe them with a red ring. Overcome her arrow attacks and projectiles as they will dampen your health and stamina. Whenever Kratos runs out of energy, it’s all done. Then, her single-hit and single shot attacks are unblockable, you can only dodge to your left or right to avoid them. Then once again the Huntress boss fires a series of fire arrows and the attacks will be explosive and you can jump or dodge them. You can also block them. Use your Leviathan Axe and Spartan Rage effect, and aim for her head to inflict heavy attacks. Whenever her head turns into glowing head, you can use Atreus’ Arrows and axe to deal damage constantly to drain her energy levels.
You can stun her by attacking her Glowing Horns and she will be down on her knees. The Huntress lunges forward and inflicts heavy attacks. This time she utilizes her ranged attacks. You will be indicated with yellow circle rings. Unleash your melee attacks and combos on her head, and utilize Atreus’ arrow attacks on her legs to drain her health shield in a short span. Continue with same attacks and use different weapons whenever she’s down on her knees on the ground. A cut scene prompts and you will be taken to the next and final stage of the battle against the Huntress. The second phase is as challenging as phase 1 and you need to stick to your plans and strategies to dominate the Huntress boss.
Stage 2
The Huntress becomes more intimidating in this phase. But her health will be low, you can exploit her weakness and attack. Dodge her bow and arrow attacks. Her unblockable attacks can be carried. The Huntress unleashes flaming arrows indicated by red rings, make sure that Kratos doesn’t enter the zone. The Huntress also comes with runic and heavy projectiles in this stage. Use Spartan rage and other rage attacks to overcome her moves. Utilize Kratos’ melee combos and target her head and legs. If needed you can utilize the blade of chaos to inflict heavy damage. You can use relics to overcome her massive projectiles along with Leviathan Axe attacks. You can stun her with arrows and spartan rage and exploit her weakness in this situation.
Keep attacking her with the same set of strategies, and the Huntress will be more aggressive whenever she gets angry. Unleash your arrows on her Glowing Horns to reduce her movement and attacks. Kratos and Atreus will have to be more tentative in the last phase as the Huntress will come up with fire and flaming arrows, and quickly dodge them to avoid further damage. Once her health reaches the last point, you can use Spartan rage and melee attacks to make the final blow on her head. That’s how the entire boss challenge against the Huntress boss goes. Kratos and Atreus can leave her realm after killing the boss and make sure to claim your rewards from the Huntress boss as drops.

After defeating the Huntress, you can leave the realm and complete the following boss fights in God of War Ragnarok. After defeating the Huntress you will also get a couple of rewards which include,
