Valheim Queen Boss Fight – Tips and Tricks
The Queen stays in her Dungeon, the Infested Citadel. Her Forsaken Altars will be available in Mistlands. Infested Citadel is the place where she spawns and you can get to Vegvisirs zone in Infested Mines. Find Sealbreaker fragments to craft a Sealbreaker on the Galdr Table. After gaining access with a Sealbreaker, the boss spawns in a lower floor area in Citadel. Now you can commence the boss fight with your equipment.
You need to carry food, weapons, and armor along with potions to defeat her. You can equip Staff of Embers and Staff of Frost as magic weapons. Feather Cape and Linen Cape are the best armor against her attacks. Minor healing Mead and Tasty Mead are the best Potions to increase your health and stamina.
Phase 1
Poison resistance mead is also another great pick against the queen as she becomes vulnerable to this. You can join with friends to quickly complete the battle and kill her without struggling much. Going solo might be a challenging and longer task and your chances will also be low in solo mode. The Queen boss also has a different variety of melee attacks and raging combos.
Her three melee attacks can kill your gang as they deal more than 100 damage per second. She throws poison and uses her arms to unleash more damage every time. The boss also bites and spits poison. You can stay behind and then counterattack again.
The Queen releases poison projectiles and these deal massive physical damage. You can dodge them and use Armor. The Queen also uses her crawl attacks. Use a staff of frost to counter her moves. Use a shield to avoid incoming damage. Feather Cape, this armor allows you to negate her dangerous attacks and you can equip it initially or once your health goes below 50. Once her health is below 50, the next phase of the boss battle commences immediately.
Phase 2
Phase 2 will be more faster and the queen will be aggressive. The boss roars and unleashes Seekers, use your ranged weapons to kill these seekers. Use the Staff of Embers weapon to drain her health initially and rest of your troops can focus on her knees. The Queen can use her crawl and attack in different ways. You can either block them or use Staff of Frost to counterattack.
Utilize feather Cape and unlock feather fall effects to get the best defense. You can jump to a lower level and kite her. Whenever the boss roars, seekers will spawn again. Seekers are her children and you can clear all seekers with a staff of embers.
You can use poison resistance mead potion whenever the queen inflicts poison damage. This is one of the best options to avoid poison attacks. Keep attacking and deal more damage. Attack her from every end to reduce her health and stamina. Once the queen runs out of health, you will be able to complete the challenge. A long battle that tests your patience and skills.
