How to Reach Wyvern’s head

Wyvern is the second giant you will come across while playing the game. Wyvern is flying across the skies of Ares island to keep a watch on the player. After the player manages to sneak past Wyvern’s view, the player will enter a new area and find the route to reach Wyvern’s head.

You have to find the final Emerald which is located atop Wyvern’s head. After the player Half completes the mission, they are posed with the challenge of bringing down this enemy. The key to getting to Wyvern’s head is a tower that can be seen in the horizon straight ahead from where Sonic enters the arena.

Players will find tempting diving board spots and are supposed to wait only for the Titan to pass by. Sonic has to grab the board and attack at the right time.

Given the attack, it is bound to happen that Sonic will be shaken off by Wyvern from above him. At this time the Sonic Frontiers are required to use homing attacks to dodge the laser beams released by  Wyvern and reach back on the path. To catch up with Wyvern’s head once he is on the trail, Sonic will have to run and boost. If there are any light orbs on the way, use quickstep to avoid them. Do not forget to use the homing attack to dodge the lasers and travel between them.

How To Defeat Wyvern

Sonic will be occupied chasing Wyvern and bringing down its powers, it is now when the Sonic Frontiers are required to keep an eye on the ring. You have to keep collecting the rings in order to keep Sonic charged up at all times whilst he is fighting against Wyvern. The moment the number of ring fall down Sonic will fall weak in front of Wyvern making him more vulnerable to Wyvern’s attacks.

Players can avoid the homing missile rain by moving carefully as they get closer to Wyvern throughout the chase. Wyvern’s main strategy is to obstruct Sonic’s advancement.

Wyvern will use Claw Slash once Sonic comes near. thus you can tackle it with a Parry. As Parry could fall as a strong attack on Wyvern, it will counterattack. This is the chance for the Sonic Frontiers to come together and combine attacks to pile up the damage on the boss and take it down.

Bonus Tip: A great combo is Spin Slash which can then be followed by Wild Rush and/or Homing Shot for extremely high damage. Quick Cyloop is yet another useful attack that increases that attack window for slowing down Wyvern.

After these attacks, Wyvern will go through the second phase of battling which is it will fire even more lasers now at you. Wyvern’s rocket barrages will become more intense and will cause double the damage. this time all you have to do is double up the Parry and attack it with more power rapidly. This would trigger the Wyvern to get into full force and attack with its power, which will eventually reduce its power and health.

Players now need to just successfully complete one final QTE sequence. to defeat it completely. Once you attack with the last QTE sequence, Wyvern is down and your mission is complete.

So this is how you finish Wyvern along with the help of your Sonic Frontiers. Keep in mind the tips so that your chances of winning become double.
