Diablo 4, the dark action RPG has many interesting features and content. Be it dungeons, nightmare dungeons, socket gems or legendary aspects, everything has been crucial for progress. Another new addition is Strongholds. Strongholds are fortified locations where demons and ghosts spawn frequently. Strongholds are located in every region in the sanctuary and you can unlock new Dungeons, Waypoints and more by playing these types of challenges.
Farming legendary items, looting exclusive items or obtaining gold has been difficult in Diablo 3. But completing Strongholds lets you unlock all these items as free rewards. Tur Dulra is a Stronghold challenge that’s located in Scosglen. You can play this activity after crossing level 47-49. This Stronghold has various objectives and a boss fight at the end. Here’s how you can complete the Tur Dulra Stronghold in Diablo 4.
Reach level 47 and you can proceed to play the Tur Dulra Stronghold. This is located southwest of Scosglen. Travel across the southwest coast and reach the deep forest subregion. Reach the Tur Dulra ruins which was once a druidic college in Scosglen. The ruins are conquered by demon force and you have to liberate some spirits of Druids right now.
You have two ways to reach the entrance. One is southeast which is blocked already. So, your only option is to reach the southwest and climb through the cliffs. Here, you will spot a Healing Well as well. Make sure to upgrade your HP. Clear small mobs inside and travel to the next area.
Here, you will spot another big tree. The Burning tree or Great Oak will be inside and you can witness three druidic spirits. You have to interact with one of the druids. Speak to the one that’s in the center, Brighde. You will get to know more about these druids in this task.
These druids were ruined by a demon and complete the memory sequence to begin the next task. Make your way to the east of the Great Oak. Find the circular staircase and interact with another memory sequence device.
Next, you will be surrounded by a group of demonic creatures. Use your skills and melee weapons to clear them. Once you slay all enemies, go towards the right side path. Here, you will find the first Druid, Eanan. Interact with Eanan and also slay two more Soul Burner enemies. Once you kill them, you have to fight against the Eanan spirit.
Fight against the elite version of Eanan and free his spirit. Eanan will spit poison and you have to avoid its poison globs. Head towards the southwest of the ruins. Here, you have to defeat demons and elite demons.
Next, you have to meet the final Druid Odhran inside the ledge. Again you have to defeat Soul Burners and Snowy Balrog elite. Once you clear all demons and elite enemies, you have to tussle up against the Druid Odhran spirit. Beware of its poisonous projectiles and combos. Use a ranged sword to tackle the elite enemy and also, free his spirit as well.
The job is not done yet as you have to again travel to the north of Great Oak. Clear all enemies and release the second druid Brighde. Interact with her and prepare for another battle. She will summon cyclones and pummel the ground to create shockwaves. Also, you can dodge her projectiles and counterattack with a powerful sword.
Defeating Brighde will free all three druids. The final encounter begins against the Stronghold’s main boss. Baelgemoth, Infernal Tormentor, the dangerous boss descended by a demon that demolishes the Tur Dulra ruins will arrive.
The real challenge begins against the Infernal Terminator and you have to defeat him to complete the entire challenge. Here are some tips and tricks to beat the Baelgemoth boss,
Infernal Terminator Boss – He uses a big mace to attack. The flaming mace unleashes fire attacks and projectiles. The boss will turn 360° and swing his mace to release a burst of flames covering a cone. The boss breathes fire and will release fireballs. Dodge its attacks and you can use long-range weapons.
Baelgemoth can vanish suddenly and will respawn behind your zone. You have to be wary of his mace and smash attacks. It will also spit out bursts of energy. This can pull enemies and trap them within its radius. You can run faster or jump to the other side.
You can also use AoE attacks to overcome these combos. Keep attacking the boss and stun him with a powerful skill. Use status effects and drain his energy and healing points. The boss will be eventually defeated. Once Baelgemoth collapses down on the ground, you can witness rain drops that will cleanse the flames and curse of the college.
Next, you have to run towards the northern part of Great Oak. Find the Wanderer’s shrine that’s located on the left where you defeated Brighde druid. A small interaction will be enough to conquer the Tur Dulra.
That’s it , the entire Stronghold is completed. Once you are done with all these objectives, the Tur Dulra Stronghold will also become a player-friendly settlement. You can also unlock more new waypoints, towns and also equipment like Rings, Amulets, and Healer. You will unlock more vendors and alchemists as well.
More Diablo 4 side-quests along with the Underroot dungeon will be unlocked. The other rewards include Renown and Gold.
