Umbra is a level 50 boss, and what’s more amazing is he uses a sword, which is also Umbra. So, you need to defeat Umbra who’s out with an Umbra sword in this boss battle.
After appearing in Elder Scrolls’ previous versions Morrowind and Oblivion, he made his way into the world of Skyrim. Umbra is so powerful and intimidating with his Umbra Sword along with Ebony Armor, which gives him full protection. Umbra is stronger in dealing damage with double HP. The battle against Umbra in Skyrim will be long and more challenging, you must equip the best weapons and armor to avoid his attacks and damage. Umbra deals damage and unleashes a variety of attacks, you have to be watchful of these attacks and make sure your health doesn’t drop.
Take your best weapons along with Armor, Magic Potion, and Healing to tackle his moves. Red Eagle’s Bane, Windshear, Dragonbane, Mehrunes’ Razor along with Poison Rune and Healing. Konahrik, Helm of Yngol, and Otar can be your best armor picks.
Umbra starts attacking with the sword, and his attacks are fast. Initially, you can block his moves, as he will slow down if his attacks are missed. Use poisons and healing to reduce his health shield. Keep dealing damage with your sword. Cast any Frenzy or Ash Rune spells to stop his attacks. And deal damage after casting these spells on him.
Use the poison rune to create an explosion, and Umbra won’t be able to spot you for a while. Now you can unleash a heavy attack using the Dragonbane sword. Keep dealing damage to reduce his health.
Umbra will now lunge forward and unleash two-handed attacks, these are lightning-fast, you can quickly block them and cast another frenzy spell to halt his progress. Keep throwing poison spells and healing to negate his attacks. Frustrated Umbra will now unleash one-handed sword attacks to deal massive damage. Now unleash Wizard’s Fury spell to stun him with fire and frost damage.
This time Umbra is trapped, and you just need to keep attacking and unleashing spells to dampen his HP to zero. Deal damage for some time, and the boss will be down once him HP is drained fully.
