You can get both carrots and apples in villages. Craft and feed them to both animals. Once they enter the love mode, both become closer and a baby mule will spawn in a couple of seconds.
The mules also don’t breed with others and you need to repeat the entire process every time to breed and bring another mule. The best advantage of having a mule is it can carry resources and chests, this reduces your energy and health. Your stamina level also remains the same and the mules can also travel and jump faster than other animals in Minecraft.
Both donkey and horse spawn at Windswept Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Savanna, Meadow, Plains, Plains, Sunflower Plains, and also in the other parts of villages.
