Oranguru is Generation 7 Sage Pokemon in Pokemon Go. If you are looking to catch an Oranguru in, here is our complete guide with some bonus tips and tricks!
Oranguru is a Sage Pokemon that originated from the Alola region. It is a Psychic and Normal type creature. Oranguru was introduced as a Gen 7 game and it doesn’t have an evolution form.
The Oranguru Pokémon made its debut via the Sustainability Week Event 2022, as of now there are only 2 possible ways to get it. Here’s the complete guide about Oranguru in Pokemon Go.
So far there are two viable methods to catch the Oranguru Sage from Pokemon Go. One is players may encounter Oranguru from the wild regions, and the next option is to Hatch Oranguru using a 7KM Egg.
First, you can look on your screen whether Oranguru spawns nearby on the map, then try to catch Oranguru during nighttime. Also, you won’t have any issues while catching Oranguru, as it’s just a Normal Psychic type creature. Hunt for Oranguru in areas surrounded by Water, Beach, or Trees. You need to be active in the wild regions, as Oranguru is rarely seen, once you see them spawn, catch it in your bag.
So once you see Oranguru, hunt the Sage Pokemon using a Lure Module or Incense. Look for any area where Oranguru regularly spawns. Then you may use the Lure Module at the Pokestop to finally catch the Sage Oranguru. Likewise, the Incense can be utilized at any random spot, find the Oranguru then encounter it using Incense.
The next and only option to catch Oranguru is by hatching it with 7 km eggs. Here’s how to get Oranguru by Hatching a 7 km egg:
Use any 7KM eggs that you acquired from the Pokemon Go Sustainability Week event in 2022. But this method may not work all the time. As these 7 KM eggs also Hatch other creatures like Larvitar, Cherubi, and Alolan Diglett, the possibility of getting an Oranguru is reduced. But with more incubators in your bag, your chances of catching Oranguru increase gradually.
If you don’t own enough Incubators, get them using the Pokecoins from the in-game Pokemon Go item shop. With more incubators, you get more hatched 7 km eggs which will eventually get you an Oranguru.
As of now, Trainers don’t have any other ways to get hold of these Oranguru species. Pokemon GO only allows players to Catch Oranguru with the listed 2 methods. There are some Oranguru Battle Raids, if trainers are good enough and are able to defeat it, then they can catch Oranguru in their bags.
With more updates and seasons coming up in Pokemon Go, trainers will be able to catch Oranguru using more options. Right now, you can either encounter Oranguru from the Wild or hatch it using 7km eggs as these two options have been the best for the trainers as of now.
Oranguru doesn’t have its Shiny form as of now. Pokemon GO trainers don’t have the option to use Oranguru as a Shiny Pokemon even though there’s no special variant for the Oranguru in the game. So Pokemon Go fans may have to wait for a little more time to see the Shiny form of Oranguru.
Even the other species which made their debut along with Oranguru have gotten their Shiny form in Pokemon Go, but Oranguru doesn’t have any. Also, Oranguru cannot be evolved in Pokemon Go, as there are no evolution forms for the Sage creature.
That’s everything you need to know about the Oranguru Pokémon from Pokemon Go. These are the best ways to Catch Oranguru in Pokemon Go. The complete guide to Catch Oranguru in Pokemon Go is available here.
