Pokémon Go continues to delight its fans with lots of events and surprises as the year’s end is approaching. The latest one is the Pokemon GO Bergmite Spotlight Hour, but now it can be shiny!
The latest spotlight hour has been added as a part of the Pokemon GO Winter Holiday Part One event and this event continues to have the winter theme in the game. The Holiday event will continue till December 23rd so, you have ample time to collect as many Bergmite candies as possible before the Spotlight event so that you can use this candy to get Hisuian Avalugg and use it to power up Avalugg.
So what’s Pokemon GO Bergmite Spotlight Hour, can it be really shiny, and what are the other bonuses and rewards during this event, let’s check it out here
Bergmite Spotlight Hour Details
The Pokémon GO event Bergmite Spotlight Hour will give you 2x Catch Candy for every Pokémon you catch.
This feature is going to give trainers an epic chance to get a Bergmite Pokémon and evolve then into Avalugg. This is not a very unique Pokémon to get your hands on but indeed a special one.
The event is set to launch on December 20, which is a Tuesday, and the timings would be 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Every Tuesday the trainers will find a special Pokemon that will occur quite frequently in the game between 6-7 pm. This is your chance to load up on candies, and if you are lucky you might get high CP Pokémon or a shiny Pokemon.
Is Bergmite really Shiny in the upcoming Spotlight Hour?
There is a High possibility that Bergmite could be shiny during this year’s Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour.
It is interesting to note that Bergmite is a recent Pokémon that has been introduced for the Holiday 2022 event on December 15 and will be the first Pokémon to get a shiny version.
However, catching a shiny Pokémon is not that easy, especially during the spotlight event. The gaming platform is not going to keep many shiny Pokémon as they do well only during Community Days. This means that players roughly have one in a 500 chance of encountering a shiny Pokémon. However, the chances for you to click on more Pokemins would increase, as the more the Pokemons you click on more are the more chances you might get a chance to get a shiny one.
Bergmite Appearance
Bergmites are light blue in color, but the shiny version of it will turn the lower segment of the Pokémon will turn yellow. So if you are hunting for a Bergmite you should know how it looks. You can see how the Bergmite looks as posted by Pokemon Go’s official Tweet.
Note that there are no tricks or hacks that can help you get a shiny Pokemon easily, it’s purely based on chances and shiny Pokemon catch rates. There are no consumable items to increase the chances of getting more shiny Pokemons during the event.
Thus if you are lucky this year you can get one shiny Pokémon for sure, so keep your eyes sharp and don’t forget to play the event on December 20.
