Tears of the Kingdom has become the new favorite title of fans in the Legend of Zelda franchise. Thanks to its modern settings and vibrant visuals that keeps the players hooked to the game with a new mechanism for hours. Hateno village is home to many quests and it focuses on the feud between near Mayor Reede.
Mayor Reede is quite rigid about the traditional ways of Hateno and Cece who is a new fashionista in town wants to modernize the town of Hateno. Both have their own ideologies and secrets that you have to discover in your journey. Now it’s on you how you settle this feud and bring peace to the town of Hateno in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
To begin Reede’s secret, you have to find Mayor Reede’s wife Clavia. You can usually find her in her house which is located on a hill with a small wall and shade opposite the Hateno Village Shrine.
Clavia will tell you that she wants to know what Reede gets up to his shed at night and will ask you to find a way inside the shed during Midday.
When attempting to enter the shed located next to the house, the initial failed attempt is due to a locked door, but the solution lies in accessing the shed from underneath using Ascend; locate a well behind and to the left of the shed, leading to a cave system beneath Hateno, with its considerable length and two entrances teeming with enemies and abundant loot, including mined stones, rare critters, and plants.
Starting from the well near the shed, follow the directions outlined below:
If you haven’t reached midday, either wait until that time or create a campfire by igniting some wood on the ground; Fire Fruit arrows or Bomb Fruit arrows can also generate fire, but ensure you keep a safe distance; using a campfire, you can pass the time until noon. Once it’s midday, utilize Ascend to enter Reed’s shed and read Reede’s diary. Take care to time your actions correctly to avoid being detected by Reede, as being spotted will result in expulsion from the premises.
After reading the diary, you will obtain the desired information and then depart from the shed in a regular manner. Following this, return to Clavia, who will provide a quest marker on your Minimap. By conversing with her, you will successfully complete the quest and be rewarded with 10 Hylian tomatoes
