There are daily missions and you as a survivor need to explore the fantasy world to find out new stories and challenges. The challenges are tricky and you can use spells to defeat every demon enemy. There are also plenty of boss fights in the Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Some bosses are non-optional and some are mandatory to progress in the main story.
Aoye is the 6th main boss in the game and you can encounter this cow demonic boss In Search of the Immortal Wizard mission. Hong Jing is your reinforcement character during this mission. Aoye is a monster and beating the boss requires patience, skills, spells, and more. Every boss in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty has unique attacks and combos.
Aoye is a dangerous demon creature and doesn’t show mercy on its enemies. This bull-like demon boss has plenty of raging attacks and is highly resistant to water and fire elements. You need to use a poison throwing knife, earth spells, and armor to overcome its attacks. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Aoye Boss Fight – Guide & Tips
Aoye is a primary boss. Aoye owns several attacks like a leap, critical, shockwave, charged, and more. Your strategy is to deflect all its moves to avoid losing healing points. You can use weapons and earth and metal elemental spells to overcome its attacks. Poison Throwing Knife is effective against this boss and it can inflict huge damage every time. You can also utilize fatal strikes and deflect combat techniques in most paints. Here’s how you can defeat and kill the Aoye boss easily.
Phase 1
Phase 1 will be tricky and you have to find out its moves and combos. Aoye will lunge forward and use his tentacles to unleash charged and sweeping attacks. This will also deal stone and lightning damage. You can block or parry them with spells. The boss lunges forward to grab your neck, you can parry it again. Use fatal strikes and avoid all its leap attacks immediately. You can also dodge its critical attacks. The boss then releases shockwaves, you can stay behind and deflect them. As the shockwaves can hamper your progress.
Tusk strike is another primary attack of the boss and you can parry them using a weapon. Aoye releases Frost Blast and the boss turns glowing to unleash waves of ice in a cone, you can stay behind this zone. Keep attacking and the next phase begins after the boss’ HP goes to 50%. The next round will grant more special powers to Aoye and you have to be more tentative along with your reinforcement characters and divine beast. Here’s the guide for phase 2 against the boss.
Phase 2
Phase 2 will be more challenging against Aoye. The boss will unleash special magical and ice attacks. The nearby zone turns red and glowing, now there will be a series of thorn attacks. You can use fatal strike and earth spell to counter the thorn attacks. The boss will also spit ice magic and you can deflect them. Frost Barrage is another primary attack of Aoye in this phase. As soon as his HP goes below 50%, Aoye will unleash a barrage of ice shards. The boss will also turn glowing and you can move to either side to block these.
During final phase of battle, make sure to equip the divine beast, Qinglong, to unleash double damage and this will also complete the challenge quickly. Flame Weapon, the fire spell will be effective to overcome all attacks in phase 2. Continue to deal damage and throw spells to reduce its spirit gauge. Once the spirit and health levels of Aoye are 0, the boss will be down on the ground and then the challenge will be completed finally.
