Final Fantasy 16 has arrived in a grand manner. There have been plenty of quests and challenges for Clive and other Eikons as well. You can travel across all locations and complete some side quests to unlock free resources. Once you progress in main story chapters of FF 16, all new side quests, boss fights, and other challenges will be available. In a new quest, you have to locate and defeat Griffin, the beast. This is a part of the new Blacksmith Blues questline in the game.
Griffin is located near Caer Norvent. Finding this beast is a more challenging task than beating itself. Griffin, the Dozmare is a powerful beast. You will also get XP and ability points for beating him. Completing the challenge against Griffin will help you progress easily. Before finding Griffin, you have to travel to the Hideaway and interact with August. Get to know everything about the Griffin beast. Then, you can proceed to meet the Blacksmith, Blackthorne at the Black Hammer location. Then, you can acquire the Blacksmith Blues questline. Once done, you can start your journey.
Griffin is found in the World Map, Holy Empire of Sanbreque. The exact location is near the Norvent Valley. Lostwing Obelisk is the first location you can reach. From here, you have to find the Hunt Board that will help you reach the exact location where Griffin resides.
From the previous location, you can go south and reach the River Gate in Caer Norvent. Then, you can find the beast near the castle wall on the western end. Once you reach there, you can fight and kill the beast and get some rewards as well.
Griffin, the beast unleashes heavy wind attacks. It’s also stronger in AoE. You can dodge its primary attacks. Then, Clive has to deploy the best skills to overcome Griffin’s wind attacks. You can use Rook’s Gambit and Raging Fists along with any long-range weapons. Keep attacking and focus on draining its hp. The beast will unleash tremendous attacks and it also has many moves. You can dodge and counterattack throughout the battle. This will help you defeat Griffin. Also, use fire spells to deal more damage to the boss. Fire spells provide the best DMG stats in FF16 and you can fuse them with skills as well.
Rewards – After defeating Griffin, you get Gil Bug, Ability Points, Renown, XP, Drakeslayer’s Belt Design Draft, and more drops as well.
