You will get these rewards after giving Rune Tablets to Gerlinde. There will be another option and you have to give the quest items to Sparky. Giving them to Sparky will free himself and you will be given the access to perform Runesmithing at Vestiges checkpoints.
You have to make one of these choices after finding all three Rune Tablets. If you want to save Sparky, then side with him. Choosing either of these choices doesn’t bring any effects, so you can side with any one of them.
