Bungie has officially announced that all the standard Armor Mods in Destiny 2 will available for all, and here is everything you should know.
Having a powerful build on your docket is one of the most important and useful things in Destiny 2’s endgame. If you combine the right weapons, armor mods, and suitable play style with these mods it will result in a good build and your character becomes more powerful.
Armor mods are a very important resource in the build-crafting process and are added to players’ inventories to help craft their mods in the game. Players can use the armor mods irrespective of whether they have it yet or not. You can modify your Armor Mods in Destiny 2 in your inventory. This comes as a part big change in building and crafting in Lightfall next month.
General Mods: Your armor stats are boosted by general improvements like higher Intellect or Mobility. There are two variations of these mods: +5 bonuses and +10 bonuses. While the latter cost 3-5 energy, the former only cost about 1-2 armor energy.
Slot-specific: It can increase ammo when obtaining ammo bricks, speed up weapon ADS, or lessen damage from specific enemies. The mods for each armor slot are different. You should be aware that she now offers four combat mods for sale each day since The Witch Queen’s release.
Combat Style mods: Utilizes the three mechanisms Charged with Light, Warmind Cells, and Elemental Wells, they offer strong, build-enabling effects.
Raid mods: These are only active during specific raids.
This becomes charged with Light if you break an enemy’s shield with the matching energy type. It is highly valuable as it can be useful for endgame content. Endgame activities generally include shielded enemies
This improves target acquisition, accuracy, and aim-down sights in the weapon you have equipped it. This mod helps you land more shots and works efficiently in PvP mode.
This one generates Special ammo for the entire team and consumes one-third of your super energy. This is efficient for endgame PvE mode.
This one is an interesting mode as it’s quite innovative. These mods get charged with light which you can equip by picking up Orbs of Light. It allows you to obtain stacks of charged with Light.
When you cast a super, nearby friends gain +20 Strength and become Charged with Light. The PVP community loves Radiant Light. It provides your Fireteam “free” Charges of Light in addition to giving you +20 Strength.
When you are charged with light your allies become charged with light even if they were not previously charged. This is a mandatory mod for self-respecting PvP build, especially in Hunter mains. It allows you to be easily charged with Light.
Warmind cells are strong and Wrath of Rasputin pairs well with builds that have solar weapons to deal with explosive damage. Thus it’s recommended to keep it in your loadout.
The weapons with these mods get a bonus upon picking up almost. These mods are mandatory for PvE and PVP. This will increase your special and heavy reserves which result in higher overall DPS.
This mod gives an extra stack of charged with Light for each stack you gain. If you have a stack of Charged with Light available when you need it, Charge with Light builds can be incredibly powerful. This is the reason why Stacks on Stacks is considered important.
To use this mod simply create Void Wells with your preferred Elemental Wells, equip a Void weapon, then shoot foes until they burst into huge groupings to experience endless Void explosions. It is the best mod out there, so definitely add it to your list.
This announcement by Bungie has indeed come as a big shot for the gamers and players can’t wait to get their hands on armor Mods in Destiny 2 as soon as possible. Bungie has also said that it will be updating its community with more updates about armor mods in the Bungie blog on post Thursday, Jan 12.
Destiny 2 Lightfall Is set to release on February 28, 2023.
