V Rising Soul Shards
Soul Shards are items that can be used on your character to improve different features, increasing your total power. They’re only helpful later in the game, and you won’t find any until you’re close to completing the main objective. There are currently three in the game. However, the number differs depending on the mode you’re playing.
As we said in the beginning, PvP is different when it comes to V Rising soul shards. There is only one soul shard available as of now and the players will need to fight against each other in order to earn it. If you have one in your inventory, it works just like any other item you hold, so you can set it to a certain key on the Hotbar and then get its two-hour bonuses.
The three types of Soul Shards in PvE are:
Soul Shard of Solarus
- Gives a 50% sun resistance buff.
- Increases with a 5% melee attack speed.
- Gives a 10% physical power buff.
Soul Shard of Behemoth
- A 50% buff in garlic and holy resistance
- Grants a 5% movement speed buff.
- A 20% buff in resource gathering.
Winged Horror Soul Shard
- A 50% fire and silver resistance buff.
- A 10% increase in spell power.
- Gives a 5% buff in spell critical hit chance.
How to get V Rising Soul Shards
To know the locations of the soul shards in V Rising, you will first need to unlock a few things that will grant you the locations of the soul shards. Once you will be near the end game, you will have the option to build The Eye of Twilight. This will require four Gold Ingots and four Spectral Dust.
When you build The Eye of Twilight, place it in your castle and once you do it, your map will show you the spawn locations of the soul shards. Keep in mind that with the help of The Eye of Twilight, anyone can see the location of the soul shards. Even your enemy clans can see it so you will have to make a strong strategy to get it.
Now, the difficult part of getting a soul shard is that you will have to defeat a high-level boss in V Rising. Why? Because some high-level bosses of the game carry the soul shard and you will have to beat them in order to obtain the item. Fighting these bosses alone is very difficult, and we do not recommend it.
You can take some help by fighting them with your clanmates. This is not something that you can take lots of time to get because there are other players too. Therefore, you will have to put your hands on it as soon as possible. The below bosses are the ones that you need to beat in order to obtain the Soul Shards:
- Solarus The Immaculate
- Gorecrusher The Behemoth
- The Winged Horror

You will not get the V Rising soul shards fully after defeating the bosses. This is just one part to obtain the soul shards. Once you defeat the high-level bosses, you will have to carry the soul shards on your own to your castle.
While you carry a soul shard, you will not be able to use any powers you have or even mount a ride. Furthermore, you will take 25% of extra damage and your movement speed will also be reduced by 15%. This is even more difficult than defeating the high-level bosses. The reason is that you will have to face enemies and even the enemy clan while carrying the soul shard. Everyone will attack you in order to snatch the soul shard from you.
Your clanmates will have to protect you and lead you to the Castle safely. The enemy clan can see a soul shard (that means you) moving around the map. They can make a plan and attack you to steal your soul shard. Therefore, you will have to be aware of everything.
How to use a Soul Shard in V Rising
You will have to use the soul shard once you defeat the high level bosses and all the enemies and enemy clan members on your way to reach the castle. The game will not show you how to use the soul shard but don’t worry, we’re here to help you with that as well.
You will have to place the soul shard on your Hotbar and then use it at the base. Next, you will have to change it into a Soul Shard Pylon. When you change all the Soul Shards into Soul Shard Pylon, it will give you and your clanmates the buff that will last for two hours. You will have infinite uses for it.
