Owlbear Cub is located at the Owlbear Nest. You can find the NPC at campsites and goblin camps sometimes. Once you meet the Owlbear at its nest, you have to use your wisdom skills and pass a check.
Also, you can use animal speaking spells to indicate you are not a threat to the cub. If you pass the checks, you will be able to recruit the owlbear cub after a short battle with its mother. You can slay the Owlbear and take its cub to your campsite.
The next option is to meet the Cub in Goblin Camp, located south of Druid Grove and northeast of Blighted Village. Here, you have to find the cub near the entrance. If you spared it in a previous encounter, you will be able to meet another NPC called Krolla.
There will be a new game here known as the Chicken Chase or Chicken Run. Your goal is to participate in the game and become the best chicken chaser to find the cub. There are numerous options to invite Owlbear Cub to your party. Here’s what you can do,
Again, you can find the Cub and this time it’s towards the northeast of the Silvanus Grove. You can feed some supplies to the cub and it will also disappear to the wilderness suddenly. You can wait for sometime and once the cub returns from the forest, you have to check on its paws and claws. The Owlbear Cub will be hurt badly and assist the NPC and heal it. The cub will call you nice and you can recruit her to your camp finally.
