In order to get the Shard of Alexander Talisman in Elden Ring, the initial step is to clear the Iron Fist’s questline. You will come across Alexander, the giant talking clay pot in the Northern part of Limgrave. You would find him shouting for help as you walk down the valley wedged between two Cliffside.
Well, now that you are here you should know that this questline is not as easy as it seems. In this quest line, you are supposed to find several locations present at different points in the game. Thus, it is a long process to get the Shard of Alexander Talisman.
How to get Shard of Alexander in Elden Ring
You have to find your way to the voice and you will see Alexander stuck in a hole. Alexander will ask your help to free him and after completing this will begin Alexander’s questline.
After you free him from the hole you will then spot him in a tunnel named Gael Tunnel in Caelid. Go down the cave till you reach the site at the bottom. Keep exploring the tunnels until you find a large opening with two massive doors. The two doors on the right will lead to a boss fight and the single door on the left will have Alexander behind it.
Now, the spherical Witty clay pot is locked behind a small rectangular door. You have to talk to him, get him to tell his standard dialogue, and then go back to the site of the grace to reset the area.
This time Alexander traveled to Redmane Castle for the Radahn Festival. You have to go here and fight the Starscourage Radahn boss fight which then allows you to gain NPCs to help you recover from his defeat.
You would then come across Alexander the next in the west of Liguria of the lakes. Now yet again the clay pot is stuck, which is south of the Carian Study Hall This time he is stuck deeply and you’ll have to throw an Oil Pot at him to hit and free him from the hole. You will next find Alexander at Mt. Gelmir on the left of the lava after you defeat Magma Wyrm’s boss fight. Now in order to get information about the final location you will have to take some damage.
The last place where you will find Alexander’s is in Farum Azula. You have to head up the Dragon Temple Lift, past the Godskij Duo boss fight. At the top of the lift, you will find Alexander standing on floating rubble. To get the Shard of Alexander Talisman you will have to take on a fight with the witty clay pot just to give him a sense of a Warrior one last time. After you defeat him, he will crumble into pieces and will finally drop the Shard of Alexander Talisman.
