To get the Stone Tongue material, you have to defeat the A-ranked enemy, Agni. Agni is located in Halfcombe. This level 40 Mini-boss has plenty of attacks and projectiles. Once you defeat the boss, you can get the item as a drop. To reach its location, you can start from the Edge of Infinity Obelisk. From here, you can go southwest and reach the ruins near Halfcombe, Waloed. Walk further and the Agni boss will spawn. You can immediately start the challenge and defeat it to claim your item.
Agni uses its paw and unleashes slam attacks. It will also release waves of flames. Also, dodge its spin combos and wind attacks. Every attack of Agni will inflict heavy damage. You have to dodge all of its attacks initially. The boss also unleashes body slam attacks and other combos. Finally, Agni will also unleash firewater attacks. You can also counterattack using any fire spells. Fire spells and skills in FF 16 are the best ones to tackle bosses and deal huge damage. There are plenty of these fire spells as well.
The boss breathes fire for a while and you have to move to your left or right. Use your skills with any ranged weapons. Dodge and counterattack whenever the boss stops attacking. This is the strategy to overcome Agni’s attacks and defeat them. You can also earn Gil, EXP, Ability Points, and Renown Points along with the Stone Tongue.
This amazing crafting material can be used to unlock the Ouroboros Vambrace from the Blacksmith, Blackthorne in the Cid’s Hideaway. You have to collect other required materials as well. Every Vambrace grants defense, hp, atk, and stagger bonus. This one will increase your def and HP stats. Having higher hp points and more defense stats ensure you can complete all combat easily in the game.
