In Dying Light 2, players can engage in co-op multiplayer mode by accessing the Online Lobby Menu and inviting or joining other players’ games. However, before players can unlock co-op mode, they must first complete the introductory tutorial chapter of the campaign.

Dying Light Co-op Mode

Firstly, players have the option to skip story cutscenes during the main campaign. Additionally, when faced with a dialogue choice, players can use the Dying Light 2 Vote Feature by selecting the yellow text options for each choice. This will quickly advance the conversation. It’s important to note that selecting any gray text will initiate side dialogues that aren’t necessary for progressing through the main campaign. Add Friends

From there, they can choose to directly join their friend’s game or invite them to their own Dying Light 2 co-op session.

In Dying Light 2 co-op, players also have the ability to add friends and other players to their favorites list. To do so, simply hover over a username and click the “Add to Favorites” button in the side menu.
When looking to play with others, players have three options: Quick Join into a Dying Light 2 Co-op Game, Find Games, or respond to a “Call For Help: Search And Rescue.” If players choose to respond to a “Call For Help: Search And Rescue,” they’ll be notified during regular gameplay if another player requires assistance in their game. A notification featuring the player’s name will appear on the upper-right side of the screen, along with a button prompt. By pressing the button prompt, the first player will join the second player to assist them with their missions.
