Play Fortnite on Chromebook with GeForce Now

NVIDIA’s revolutionary game streaming service, GeForce Now, provides a smart solution for Chromebook users yearning to get into the Fortnite universe. With this, you can level up quickly. Recognizing that Chromebooks might not possess the optimal hardware for native gaming, cloud gaming emerges as the silver bullet. However, it’s crucial to ensure a stable internet connection to minimize any latency-related hindrances. Make your way to the GeForce Now website. Positioned at the top right corner, the “Join Now” button awaits your click. Alternatively, if you’re already a subscriber, proceed directly to the login page.

Next, select a plan that resonates with your gaming aspirations. By clicking the “Join” button under your preferred plan, you’re one step closer. After this, go to the signup/login page. Here, you can enter your email or opt for a connected account signup. Following this, enter your details and start your account. With your account details confirmed via email, the account settings confirmation step beckons. Change your preferences by selecting the appropriate checkboxes, then submit your choices. As you proceed, the checkout screen will validate your membership and pave the way for launching it in Chrome.

A simple click on the “Launch” button beneath Chrome seals the deal. In a seamless progression, agree to the terms by clicking “Agree & Continue” and navigate through the tutorial walkthrough. When you’re ready to indulge in Fortnite, use the search bar or locate it within the Free-to-Play section on the homepage. Unlock the treasure trove of possibilities by expanding the listing and clicking the eagerly anticipated “Play” button. GeForce Now will request you to sync your Epic Games account for a quick login. Now you are ready to play Fortnite on Chromebook.

Sideloading the Android App

For those willing to take an unconventional path, sideloading the Fortnite Android app onto your Chromebook opens new horizons. However, your Chromebook must boast an ARM processor, as this method isn’t compatible with Intel and AMD CPUs. Furthermore, Android app support must be part of your Chromebook’s repertoire. The first step involves activating Developer Mode on your Chromebook. A word of caution: this process entails wiping your internal storage clean, so tread carefully. With Developer mode in play, navigate to the Fortnite for Android download page.

Although Epic Games restricts access to the download from an Android device, there’s a workaround using Google Chrome’s developer tools. Press the combination of Ctrl + Shift + J to bring the developer tools, then hit Ctrl + Shift + M to transform the view into a mobile-friendly format. A simple click on the reload button on the Google Chrome address bar will lead you to the epicenter of the action: the “Get it on the Epic Games App” button. Now just install and you are ready to play Fortnite on Chromebook. We recommend to use the best guns here.

Play Fortnite on Chromebook with Chrome Remote Desktop

Chrome Remote Desktop offers a remote Fortnite experience directly from your PC to your Chromebook. Start by installing Chrome Remote Desktop from the Chrome Web Store on both your Chromebook and Windows PC. A single click on “Add to Chrome” sets the wheels in motion. Following this, launch the Chrome Remote Desktop web app on both platforms. On your Chromebook, discover the “+ Generate Code” option under the “Share this screen” tab. This generates a code that unlocks five minutes of remote gaming.

You can have fun and use house cat spray, skins, and much more, just like in other versions.
