The Diablo 4 Pilgrim’s Footsteps is a side-quest that’s available in the 3rd act. The quest has two been primary objectives. The entire quest takes place in locations of Kehjistan.  By completing the quest, you can farm renown, gold and elixirs.

To unlock the Pilgrims Footsteps quest, travel to the Searing Expanse zone. You can reach quickly from the southeast of Amber Sands or it’s easily accessible from the Altar of Ruin. Once you reach here, find an old book on the ground. After reading the book, you can follow the journey of a pilgrim. Your next location is Zakarum Chapel where the quest begins. Here’s how you can complete the Pilgrim’s Footsteps quest in the game.

Diablo 4 Pilgrim’s Footsteps Quest – Walkthrough

The Pilgrim’s Footsteps quest can be started at level 50+. After finding the book, head to the statue in Zakarum Chapel. First, travel to the Forgotten Coastline. Defeat the enemies here and reach the destination. After finding the statue, interact with it and also launch the emote wheel. Now, choose the “Follow” emote and perform the action before the statue. After this, the quest will be completed. The Boom of the Faithful treasure chest will spawn towards the right side of the statue.

That’s how you can complete the Pilgrim’s Footsteps quest in Diablo 4. The objectives are to read an old book and perform the Follow emote in front of an altar. This also triggers the hidden treasure chest.  Here’s what the Boom of the Faithful chest offers,

• 15,000 XP – Experience Points are always valuable and they are used to increase levels quickly. You can consume these xp and progress in the Diablo 4 campaign quickly 
• 2,000 Gold – Farming Gold is always challenging in Diablo 4. So, complete this quest and collect gold. Gold can be used to purchase legendary weapons, craft resources and unlock new skills 
• +20 Kehjistan Renown – Having more Renown increases your chances of collecting gold and legendary items 
• Weak Elixir of Shadow Resistance  – This magic elixir will automatically increase Shadow Resist by 15% and Experience by 3% for 30 mins
• Elixir of Demon-Slaying – This level 50 elixir can be consumed to increase your attack powers and defense against demons. Drink the potion before entering combat
