How to unlock Remnant 2 Engineer Archetype

To unlock the Remnant 2 Engineer Archetype, players must first locate a valuable item known as the Alien Device. This device can be found on the second N’Erud map. The challenge lies in its concealed within the treacherous fog that engulfs the N’Erud region. The device can appear anywhere on the outskirts of this foggy expanse.

Venturing into the fog will subject your character to a puke animation, making it crucial to move swiftly. Once you spot a gap in the fog, you must jump across it to reach the Engineer’s location. You’ll find a deceased Engineer there, and obtaining his Technician armor set is the key to unlocking the Remnant 2 Engineer Archetype.

The Alien Device Location

After securing the armor, drop down from the ledge and seize the Alien Device located below. The entrance to this concealed area in the fog features a smooth, short cliff on the left and spikey rocks on the right. Keep an eye out for a walkable path amidst the fog.
