Your first task is to unlock the Mount feature. This can be done in the game’s Act 4 where you have to complete a side-quest Donan’s Favor. Complete this priority quest and unlock mounts. Now, you can focus on getting the Decaying Steed Mount
To unlock this horse, you have only one task. Complete Treasure Goblins and loot Reins of the Decaying Steed item. With this item, you can craft and unlock the Mount as well. Treasure Goblins spawn everywhere across the Sanctuary including nightmare dungeons, dungeons, worlds, cellars, outposts, and settlements.
Defeat these random small creatures that spawn your way and loot the mount. If you don’t get the mount as a drop, you can go on a hunt for Treasure Goblins and eventually you can unlock the same as well. That’s how you can unlock the Mount and make sure to add this Horse to your inventory.
With Mounts, you can traverse across all locations and dungeons quickly and defeat bosses. It saves your time and takes you to places instantly. You can get every mount from the Stable Master, NPC, of Diablo 4. Just like other items, mounts are highly useful especially if you have to travel across nightmare dungeons or long distances.
You will be able to unlock mounts from the game’s fourth act and you can unlock every mount as you progress in the game. Each mount holds unique stats and some of these have the best movement speed as well. You can unlock them and store it in your Stables. Ride on mounts and slay monsters.
