This altar spawns somewhere in Yaesha and you can find it easily by looking for the blue colored icon on the map. This will take you to the Altar location.
Faded Grimoire is the item that you have to buy in the Blood Moon Altar. You can exchange all 15 Essences and trade them for this exclusive item. You have to meet the NPC, Wallace, in the Ward 13 area and also get the Tome of the Bringer item from him. Now, you can unlock the Summoner Archetype for all your current classes and heroes in the game.

Dealing massive damage to self minions will get you additional damage during battles and you can inflict double damage for a short time.
