Ash Ketchum has finally bid adieu to the Pokemon journey after two decades of traveling the Pokeworld and training to become one of the best Pokémon Masters.
Pokemon Horizons Episode 1 has been released and it is all set to feature two brand-new protagonists named Liko and Roy. Along with that, we have new supporting characters as well including a new Pikachu partner.
Given that a new journey in the Pokemon anime series is about to start fans are excited to see what this new anime holds in the Pokeworld.

Pokemon Horizons Storyline
This is the eighth installment of the Pokemon franchise that will tell us the story of Liko and Roy a new Pokémon trainer duo that we will witness in this new journey. Episode 1 of Pokemon Horizon has been released, so you can find more information below. Before that let’s catch up on the storyline of the new anime.
This would be a fresh storyline for these characters after Ash’s departure. The supporting characters joining this Duo are a young lady called Sprigatito, Rog, and a young kid with a Fuecoco.
This storyline is going to take place in the same period as Pokemon Ultimate Journey: The Series. This part gave us Ash’s final farewell to Team Rocket and a heartfelt end to his 10-year-long journey.
Pokemon Horizons will be based on the Iberian Peninsula. This Peninsula includes Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. So now that we have a new base, fans can expect to come across many new Pokemon that have been never seen before.
The story will take off from when Ash bids goodbye to his mother and supporters in the Kanto area and the new anime would pick up the story by introducing Liko from a place called Paldea. Liko has enrolled at the Kanto boarding school Indigo Academy and is all set to start a new journey.
She is seemed to have hidden power and has a mystery pendant on her that belonged to her grandmother. It is a tiny charming Spirigatito, which happens to be a grass-type started Pokémon from Paldea. This is the first Pokémon she would come across.
Roy a resident of Kanto is all prepared to start a new journey with his Fuecoco, a Paldean Fire-type starter. He also possesses a strange Pokeball with a Steampunk aesthetic.
Pokemon Horizons Spoilers
Ahead of its release, there have been many spoilers, surfacing. So let’s have a look at it.
The Rising Volt Tacklers a group which is led by Friede and Captain Pikachu are the ones who will be encountered by Liko and Roy in their journey. The Rising Volt Tacklers consist of Orla, who enjoys mechanical and electrical work and is supported by her partner’s Pokémon, Metagross; Murdock, who excels at food preparation, and his companion Pokémon, Rockruff; Mollie, who specializes in healing therapies, and her collaborator Pokémon, Chansey; and Ludlow. They travel the world discovering Pokémon on an airship.
