Predicted 4-3-3 Brighton and Hove Albion XI to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

Brighton registered their fifth win of the Premier League this season with a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town on Saturday, thanks to goals from Florin Andone and Shane Duffy.

The Seagulls moved up to 11th in the standings as a result of that win and they will have a good chance of continuing their winning run when they play host to Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.

Roy Hodgson’s men put an end to their miserable home record with a 2-0 triumph over Burnley last week and the Eagles will be looking to move further up the table with a win against Chris Hughton’s men.

Team News

Alireza Jahanbakhsh continues to be on the sidelines to nurse his thigh injury while Dale Stephens is suspended for having picked up a red card against Cardiff City before the international break.

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Chris Hughton

Predicted XI

1. Matt Ryan (GK)

The Australian shot-stopper made a good low save to keep out a free-kick from Aaron Mooy in the last game and has always been a reliable presence between the sticks.

2. Bruno (RB)

The veteran showed a good presence of mind to set up Brighton’s first goal against Huddersfield.

3. Shane Duffy (CB)

Stamped his authority at the back in the last game and should be in high spirits after scoring with a header.

4. Lewis Dunk (CB)

The Englishman put in a solid shift at the back in the last game and should be one of the first names on the team sheet for this one.

5. Bernardo (LB)

The Brazilian looked calm and composed in possession and kept the opposition at bay with some good clearances in the previous outing.

6. Davy Propper (CM)

Looked good with his passing and distribution in central midfield and has always been a key figure for the Seagulls.

7. Pascal Gross (RAM)

The German looked a bit rusty on his return from injury and he will need to deliver the goods if Brighton are to come away with three points on Tuesday.

8. Yves Bissouma (LAM)

Showed a lot of energy in the middle of the park against Huddersfield and should get another start against Palace.

9. Solly March (RW)

He has been in good form this season and Brighton will need him to add that much-needed impetus to the attack from the wide areas.

10. Jose Izquierdo (LW)

Always a lively presence down the left but he needs to come up with better end-product to have more impact.

11. Florin Andone (ST)

The Romanian scored on his first start for the Seagulls in the Premier League and he will need to string together consistent displays to keep Glenn Murray on the bench.
