Hugo Besson was born on April 26, 2001, and is a French professional basketball player for Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A. He made his LNB Pro A debut in 2018 alongside Élan Chalon. After two seasons with Chalon, he was loaned to Saint-Quentin BB of the LNB Pro B, where he led the league in scoring in 2020-21. Following a season with the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian NBL, the Indiana Pacers selected him as the 58th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
