UFC president Dana White had a go at American boxer Deontay Wilder.
The American lost his fight against Tyson Fury in a recent bout and came dressed up in a heavy suit before the clash.
That seemed to have affected his performance, something that Wilder alluded to, and White agreed with the boxer.
The UFC president also went on to say that this is why he doesn’t allow such over the top entrances in his promotion:
“I think there is a lot to it. Fury looked awesome, looked great. Fury fought a perfect fight.”
White highlighted that boxers need to do their thing, do their warm-up before a fight and then just throw something on.
“You don’t put all this gear on and stuff. That’s why I don’t do any of that bull**** in the UFC. I don’t like it.”
White also said that the 45-pound attire played a part in the fight, but was quick to remind that Fury had a perfect fight against Wilder.
The TMZ reporter also questioned White if he was open to Fury fighting in the Octagon.
The UFC president added that he wants to see the Englishman in the Octagon and also how he does in the upcoming boxing matches.
Fury will be in action again in July as Wilder exercised his rematch clause. This would be the third bout in their rivalry and the American would want to regain all his titles and belts.
Fury has tried his hand in WWE too, and it will be interesting to see how he does in this clash. The Gypsy King has looked great for the past two years but Wilder will be looking for revenge.
