Luke Harper was one of the WWE stars released late on 2019 and seems set to join AEW
AEW teased the signing of former WWE star Luke Harper with a tweet that Harper has often shared.
The 40-year-old Harper is one of the best free agents in wrestling at the moment, and WWE were never able to get the best out of him.
He wrestled with the Brodie Lee moniker in the past and was part of The Wyatt Family during a great run in WWE.
However, things didn’t click for him in singles competition or as part of The Bludgeon Brothers.
He, along with Viktor and Konnor, were also released by the company. Harper couldn’t wrestle for a few months, but reports claimed that he could be back in action in March.
AEW has teased Harper coming to the promotion with a simple tweet.

Harper regularly puts out tweets about which day it is, and it seems he will be the latest WWE star to join AEW.
The right move for Harper?
The lanky wrestler is a great worker in the ring and it was a little weird why WWE allowed him to leave.
His former tag partner, Erick Rowan, is having a singles run but that hasn’t been all that great.
Harper in AEW would be great for him and it will be interesting to see if he aligns himself with someone or tries it out solo.
The 40-year-old has all the talent to be a success in AEW but just needs to have a quality back story.
Harper has also trademarked his independent circuit name of ‘Brodie Lee’ and he could make his AEW debut with that name.
Many AEW fans went crazy with the news and here are some of their reactions:
