Predicted Leicester City line-up to face Everton in the Premier League
Leicester City have made a good start to their Premier League campaign this season and the Foxes currently sit 8th in the standings with 12 points. Although they have been a bit inconsistent, the club did manage to rack up some incredible wins.
The Foxes were impressive in their previous outing against a rather subdued Newcastle United and came away with three points comfortably, courtesy strikes from Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire.
And Claude Puel’s men must be aiming to bag their fifth win of the season when they play host to Everton on Saturday.
Team News
Demarai Gray is out with an ankle injury while Jamie Vardy picked up a minor calf injury in the last game and is doubtful to feature on Saturday.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Claude Puel
Kasper Schmeichel (GK)
The Danish international continues to be a reliable presence between the sticks and should start against Everton.
Daniel Amartey (RB)
The Ghanaian has done a decent job as a makeshift right-back and Puel should hand him another start at the weekend.
Harry Maguire (CB)
He has been rock-solid at the back and scored the winner in the previous outing. He must start on Saturday.
Wes Morgan (CB)
The veteran has done a good job in the heart of the defence for the Foxes and should start on Saturday.
Ben Chilwell (LB)
He has been good both in terms of the attack and the defence and his stocks have soared higher after his England debut.
Wilfred Ndidi (CDM)
The Nigerian has influenced the game with his energy and physicality in the midfield and Puel must continue handing him starts.
Nampalys Mendy (CDM)
The Frenchman has been instrumental with his tackles and interceptions in the middle of the park and should play a key role against Everton.
Ricardo Pereira (RW)
He failed miserably as a right-back but has looked more comfortable up front and Puel should hand him another start to allow him to grow in confidence.
Marcus Albrighton (LW)
He has been influential in the final third and should be a good replacement for the injured Demarai Gray.
