“I’m gonna say they are gonna win by a field goal”- Shannon Sharpe gives his prediction on the game between Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints

If there is one team who seems to have the number for Tom Brady led Tampa Bya Buccaneers, it is none other than New Orleans Saints, who have demolished them every time in the regular season since the arrival of the 7xSuper Bowl champ.

Having posed a 0-4 record in the regular seasons, Saints have never shied away from displaying their physicality or strength while experimenting their ‘discussed’ plans against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The former NFL star quoted on Undisputed, “I’m gonna say that they (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) are gonna win by a field goal. Tom will finally get revenge. Divisional games are always tough. I like what I saw from Tampa, they decided to run the football. When a team goes to play the Bucs, all they think about it shut down Tom – shut down Tom. But what the Saint have done is that they (New Orleans Saints) have shown is that they are not afraid to run the football. If you think what we are gonna do, you have no idea.”

Shannon Sharpe picks Tampa Bay Buccaneers to finally end Saints’ jinx in regular season

Given the contest of this NFC South showdown between the spoken off teams, the winner could have a huge outcome in deciding the ultimate champ. While there were concerns of Tom Brady missing the 11 days of preseason for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he surely put aside all concerns when he held the ball against the Dallas Cowboys.

Sharpe added, “I think this is the first time Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going with an offense which is versatile enough, to confuse (Saints). It’s gonna be a very interesting game if Donovan Smith can play the left tackle.”

On the other hand, Saints looked like a roadkill for the first 48 minutes of their season-opening showdown against Atlanta. They eventually scored 2 TouchDowns and a field goal during their last three possessions to seal a crucial win. But will they have that chance this time around against the Bucs? Remains to be seen.
