Predicted Tottenham XI to face Ludogorets in the Europa League

Tottenham will be looking to take one step closer to securing a place in the knockouts as they welcome Ludogorets for the fourth Europa League group fixture of the season. Mourinho’s men have been in sublime form ever since the blip at Antwerp, with four wins on the trot.

Ludogorets, on the other hand, have had a mixed bag, with alternating wins and losses in the last 5 games. A Spurs win could be on the cards given the reverse fixture was pretty much dominated by Spurs and they are in really good form.

Team News

Matt Doherty tested positive for COVID so he will remain in self-isolation. Erik Lamela continues his recovery and could be an absentee for this one. Harry Winks remains a doubt for this fixture after picking up an injury while on national duty.

Lastly, there is Toby Alderweireld, who suffered a knock in the last game and could face a spell on the sidelines.

Probable Tottenham XI vs Ludogorets

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The French custodian should retain his place for this one as a win would put Spurs on the cusp of qualification.

Ben Davies (LB)

Might deputise for Reguilon, who could be given the game off.

Japhet Tanganga (CB)

With Alderweireld out for the time being, Tanganga’s return couldn’t have come at a better time.

Eric Dier (CB)

Slowly settling into his new role, Dier has done well at centre-back for his club as well as country.

Serge Aurier (RB)

With Doherty out for at least two weeks, Aurier looks set to play there for the time being.

Moussa Sissoko (DM)

The Frenchman has kept up his high energy displays for the side with his ability to press the opposition with constant running.
