Tottenham vs Everton Predictions: Tottenham Hotspur Line-up

Tottenham welcome Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday in their final game of the 2018/19 Premier League.

Spurs completed a remarkable comeback at the Netherlands to beat Ajax 3-2 on Wednesday to qualify for the Champions League final where they will meet Liverpool. Lucas Moura completed his hat-trick in the final minute of the injury time to break Ajax hearts.

Mauricio Pochettino is proud of his team’s effort, but he’ll now expect his boys to end the season on a high by beating Everton at the weekend.

Son Heung-min will not be available against Everton and the first two games at the start of next season after he was shown a straight red in the 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth at the weekend. Juan Foyth was also sent off for studs up challenge into Jack Simpson’s knee.

Meanwhile, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks and Harry Kane remain out injured, but there’s a chance of Serge Aurier recovering from thigh injury in time to face Everton.

Just like Lloris, Trippier’s season has also been marred with errors. But with Aurier touch and go, the England international is set to keep his place at right-back.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

The Belgian will have to be at the top of his game to keep the Everton attackers at bay.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

A rock at the back, Vertonghen’s presence will be crucial if Spurs are to win on Sunday and finish the season on a high.

Ben Davies (LB)

Davies came on as a substitute in the thrilling triumph at Ajax. The Welshman will be fresh to face Everton at the weekend.

Victor Wanyama (CM)

Wanyama struggled to impose himself against Ajax on Wednesday and was substituted. However, he should retain his place in the starting XI on Sunday.

Eric Dier (CM)

Sissoko has been excellent for Spurs this season but he needs rest after giving his all in the victory over Ajax. Thus, that could see Pochettino opt for Dier to start alongside Wanyama in central midfield.
