The Everton revolution looks to have hit a bit of a stumble but they still continue as Manchester United visit Goodison Park. The Toffees have lost their last two games but their early-season form means that they still sit pretty at fourth place.
Manchester United are also in a spot of bother after facing two losses in their last two games. Everton won’t be helped by the fact that United have performed well in their away games. Expect an open game from both teams.
Andre Gomes, Seamus Coleman and James Rodriguez remain huge doubts for the game with injuries. Richarlison serves his suspension from the Merseyside derby but Lucas Digne will be a welcome return after his own suspension in the last game. Ancelotti will have quite some headaches to deal with in selecting an eleven for this game.
The Swede has replaced Pickford in the starting XI and is likely to continue for a while.
The youngster continues in place of the veteran Seamus Coleman.
Without Mason Holgate, Mina continues at centre-back. He would need to raise his game after his performance in the last few games.
The same goes for Keane as the team have conceded 4 goals in the last 2 games.
Digne returns after being suspended for the Newcastle game. Remains Everton’s best attacking outlet from defence.
The Brazilian has been a mainstay of the team since his arrival and continues in his position.
Much like Allan, Doucoure looks well set in the team and partners Allan in midfield.
With so many injuries to deal with, Delph could be given an extended run in the team. Needs to perform much better though.
Iwobi too gets his chance in the absence of key players. Should start out on the left in Richarlison’s place.
Even though Everton have not won their last 3 games, Calvert-Lewin has kept scoring his share of goals. Should be able to trouble Manchester United’s fragile backline.
Continues on the right with James Rodriguez out injured. Needs to start producing the goods if he is to keep his place.
