Rangers vs Aberdeen Predictions: Predicted Rangers starting XI
Rangers have been on a decent run of form over the last month or so and since losing to Celtic on the final matchday of March, they are yet to drop points in the league.
Having scored 9 goals in 3 games in the Premiership in the month of April, Rangers have even managed to keep two clean sheets along the way.
While the Celts’ 9-point lead could prove to be too much for the Gers to make up, if they keep up their good run of form, they’re eventually bound to get positive results.
Steven Gerrard has proven quite dramatically this season that he is the right man for the job at the Ibrox and the progress they’ve made is proof enough for that.
Team News
Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos picked up his 5th red card of the season against Celtic in the Old Firm Derby at the end of March and his 4-match suspension is still in effect. Borna Barisic’s leg problem makes him a doubt for this fixture.
Gareth McAuley and Graham Dorrans are both on the course to full recovery but their involvement in this tie remains up in the air. Jamie Murphy’s cruciate ligament problem is set to keep him out at least until later this month.
