Impa Kasanganay shared his prediction for Justin Gaethje vs Khabib Nurmagomedov and believed a new era was set for the UFC
Rising UFC star Impa Kasanganay was on the Blood, Sweat and Tears podcast and had one major prediction for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje.
The pair are to meet at UFC 254 in one of the highly anticipated clashes of the year. Khabib is 28-0 in his MMA career and holds the UFC Lightweight title. However, Justin Gaethje became the interim champion after defeating Tony Ferguson in brilliant fashion.
This should be a real test for Khabib’s abilities and Kasanganay was asked for his prediction.
“Khabib, man. Dominant fighter. If anybody gets Khabib, I think, I respect him, I think it is Gaethje.”
The 8-0 UFC star added that Gaethje’s wrestling background would help him in this fight but also claimed there could be a different Khabib in all this.
The Russian lost his father recently and Kasanganay believed Khabib would give it his all on his UFC return.
However, he still backed Gaethje for the win and believed it would be a new era for the UFC:
“I am going to shoot for this one. Gaethje gets it and it is a new age.”

Some other big predictions
While the undefeated UFC star backed Gaethje’s wrestling skills, he also predicted Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa.
Kasanganay claimed that Adesanya would keep his Middleweight title, but added that Costa was a dangerous opponent.
“I think Adesanya gets it. Not because Paulo Costa can’t get him but Adesanya is a very smart striker.
“I think Paulo Costa can grapple him and do some excellent things and drop some bombs.”
Kasanganay also believed that Tyron Woodley would get the better of Colby Covington and Jack Hermansson would defeat Darren Till.
The final prediction Kasanganay gave was Korean Zombie taking on Brian Ortega and backed Ortega to defeat Chan Sung Jung.
