Ross Barkley doubled the advantage in the second half with a beautifully placed shot to the bottom right and Willian virtually sealed the game with a thunderous finish from the edge of the box. Maurizio Sarri’s men had more chances to increase their lead but substitute Olivier Giroud fired his shot agonizingly wide of the far post and hit the post with a powerful header from close range.
It was Burnley’s second defeat in a row after a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City last week and Sean Dyche’s men will be up against it once again when they face West Ham away from home in their next fixture.

A much-improved display from the Spaniard as he looked a lot more mobile in the final third. Showed good awareness and presence of mind to lose his marker and scored the opener with a clinical finish; could have scored a couple more but was denied by some good goalkeeping.
