The match ended 7-5, 6-4. Gonzalez and Roger-Vasselin followed it up with a brilliant come-from-behind win against the 4th-seeded team of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic. The match ended 6-7 (8-10), 7-6 (7-5), 11-9 in favor of Gonzalez and Roger-Vasselin. Mektic and Pavic only managed to convert 1 out of 12 break points in the match.

Gonzalez and Roger-Vasselin once again showed great determination to come back from a set down and defeat the 5th-seeded team of Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Helovaara. In this clash, Glasspool and Heliovaara did not help themselves. They committed 8 double faults and eventually lost the match 6-2, 2-6, 7-10.
