The experienced campaigner began his campaign in Indian Wells with a solid come-from-behind win against Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the round of 128. This was the first match he had since finishing runner-up in the Qatar Open last month.

Murray went on to beat the Argentine player 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 6-4. In the round of 64, Murray went on to beat Radu Albot with a dominating display. The match ended 6-4, 6-3 in favor of Murray. The former world No. 1 has also been broken once in the tournament thus far. He had a win percentage of 83 against Albot on the first serve.

Jack Draper

There is no lack of talent in Draper and he exhibited the same during his run to the semifinals in Adelaide International 1. Draper has been quite professional with his performances in Indian Wells so far. He began with a comprehensive 6-1, 6-1 win against Leandro Riedi in the round of 128. Draper had an impressive win percentage of 88 on the first serve and also converted 6 out of 7 break points.

In the round of 64, Draper faced 24th seed, Dan Evans. The youngster smashed 8 aces in the encounter and won in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. He converted 4 out of 10 break points in the match to sail into the round of 32.
