Here is everything you should know about the release date of Season 2 of Inside Job

Inside Job, an adult animated series from Netflix that debuted last year, explores secret societies and conspiracies through Lizzy Caplan as Reagan Ridley and Christian Slater as her power-hungry father Randall Ridley. The show stars Christian Slater.

Gravity Falls and Disenchantment writer Shion Takeuchi created this series, with Alex Hirsch and BoJack Horseman director Mike Hollingsworth serving as executive producers. Part one premiered earlier this year and Part two will premiere this November with 10 new episodes.

Release Date

After an excellent run of ten episodes, Netflix announced at their Geeked Week celebration earlier this summer that their adult animated show Inside Job would return with eight new episodes for season two in 2022. Furthermore, creator Shion Takeuchi is working on developing an additional spin-off series.

Inside Job Season 2 (Netflix)

The series takes place in an alternate reality where conspiracies are no longer theoretical; they form part of the daily work at Cognito Inc, the deep state organization where Reagan Ridley works as an antisocial tech genius. She strives to make the world better while managing her unpredictable boss and irresponsible coworkers at Cognito Inc.

With its quick wit and dark humor, this show has quickly become a fan-favorite among both adults and children alike. Cast includes Lizzy Caplan as Reagan, Christian Slater as Clark Duke, Andrew Daly as Andrew.

Netflix released a teaser poster for season two back in October 2021, showing Reagan attending a support group filled with folkloric creatures such as Elliot Mothman and Slender Man. The show was created by Shion Takeuchi (former Gravity Falls and Regular Show writer), Alex Hirsch and Mike Hollingsworth (director of BoJack Horseman) with Mike Hollingsworth as an executive producer.

Trailer

Netflix has released the first glimpse of their adult animated show Inside Job’s second season. Based around conspiracy theories, this show centers around Cognito Inc, an anonymous government organization responsible for some of the world’s most outrageous conspiracies. Cognito Inc employs dysfunctional but narcissistic employees like Reagan Ridley (Lizzy Caplan). She attempts to take Cognito Inc in a different direction but her unhinged father Rand (Christian Slater) and coworker Bear O (Andy Daly) stand in her way.

Part 2 of Cognito will premiere in November and picks up right where Season 1 left off; with Cognito Board reinstating Rand as CEO after his prison stint and learning more about Robes family which runs Cognito.

Lizzy Caplan, Clark Duke, Adam Scott, Christian Slater, Tisha Campbell, Andrew Daly, John DiMaggio, Chris Diamantopoulos and Brett Gelman voice actors can be heard throughout this animated series. Creator Shion Takeuchi of Gravity Falls and Disenchantment serves as executive producer along with Alex Hirsch.

Synopsis

On November 18th 2022, Season Two of Adult Animated Series premiered, and all major voice cast reprised their roles – although Adam Scott makes an appearance as Ron Stadler, an individual working for Illuminati to erase memories and block out past incidents. No word yet if any more new voices will join Adam Scott’s character Ron Stadler; though that wouldn’t come as any great shock given their strong chemistry with each other.

Inside Job, currently airing on Netflix, centers around Reagan Ridley and her dysfunctional team as they work to uncover world conspiracies. It provides a quick-witted yet dark take on secret societies that has much promise of joining Netflix’s other animated hits like BoJack Horseman and Big Mouth.

Gravity Falls’ first season ended with J.R. Scheimpough sent to prison for embezzlement and Rand taking over Cognito Inc as CEO in his absence – much to Reagan’s displeasure – leaving Rand as Cognito Inc’s leader and forcing Reagan out of her dream role as Reagan had expected she’d fill it. It seems though the Shadow Board has other plans for Reagan. As yet it remains to be seen if Gravity Falls will return for its third season but Alex Hirsch and Mike Hollingsworth of BoJack Horseman fame have both signed on as Executive Producers so something must have changed for sure: Alex Hirsch created Gravity Falls while Mike Hollingsworth directed BoJack Horseman!

Cast

Lizzy Caplan returns as Reagan Ridley from Inside Job season two as an antisocial tech genius working for Cognito Inc. – a shadow government company where conspiracies are more than theories; along with Christian Slater as power-crazy Rand Ridley; Tisha Campbell will play irresponsible Gigi; and Andy Daly as former boss JR Scheimpough who was sent away at the conclusion of Part 1. Christian Slater plays power-crazy Rand Ridley while Tisha Campbell portrays irresponsible Gigi. Andy Daly returns as former boss JR Scheimpough who was sent away after Part 1.

Gravity Falls co-creators Alex Hirschand and Shion Takeuchi collaborated on its creation as co-writers; executive producers included Mike Hollingsworth (BoJack Horseman). It premiered between October 2021 and November 2022.

Conclusion

Netflix has yet to confirm the show’s future plans; however, its rapid success indicates it should return. With quick-witted humor that fits well within their portfolio of popular cartoon hits like BoJack Horseman and Big Mouth. In addition, its voice cast includes well-known voices such as Roger Craig Smith (Keanu Reeves from Resident Evil series; Chris Redfield in Assassin’s Creed; Ezio Auditore da Firenze from various Marvel games); Bobby Lee; John DiMaggio; Clark Duke; Tisha Campbell among others.
