Is Chris Paul playing tonight? The Phoenix Suns will face the Dallas Mavericks for their Game 3 clash on Friday, May 6th.
The Phoenix Suns will lock horns with the Dallas Mavericks for Game 3 of their Western Conference semi-final series on Friday, May 6th. The Suns take a 2-0 advantage into the game and already have a potential place in the Conference finals in close sight.
In Game 2, Chris Paul stole the show with a late surge to end any potential hopes of a Mavs fightback. Now, NBA fans are curious to know whether the veteran guard will play in Game 3 on Friday.
Chris Paul has been listed as available on the Suns report card ahead of Game 3 vs the Mavericks. So, barring any late injury or issue for the player, Paul is set to feature in the game on Friday.
Paul had suffered a thumb injury in February and was ruled out for more than 15 games. However, since returning to the team last month, he has continued to have a major impact on games. During Game 2 vs the Mavs, Paul scored 28 points to guide Monty Williams’ side to a 129-108 win as he went berserk in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points.
During the course of the regular season, Paul averaged 14.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 10.8 assists per game. He will also be turning 37 on the day the Suns make the trip to Dallas for Game 3. Paul remains a vital cog for the Suns and is bound to play an important role for the team if they are to make it 3-0 against the Mavs on Friday.
