Is Jaylen Brown playing tonight? The Boston Celtics will take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday, June 13th.
The Boston Celtics will travel to the Chase Center for Game 5 of their 2022 NBA Finals encounter against the Golden State Warriors. The crunch game between the two conference champions is expected to start at 9:00 PM ET.
The Celtics weren’t able to contain the Warriors in Game 4 and eventually allowed Steve Kerr’s side to level the series at 2-2 on Friday night. In that game, Jaylen Brown wasn’t at his brilliant best but still played a supporting role, grabbing 21 points for the Celtics and almost getting them the win.
Now, fans are curious to know whether Brown will be able to play in Game 5 of the series as his role in the team is becoming more important.
Is Jaylen Brown playing tonight vs Warriors?
Earlier on Monday, the Celtics released their injury report card and Jaylen Brown was not on that list. This means that Brown will be available to play in Game 5 vs the Warriors barring any late injury or setback.
Brown had suffered with a hamstring injury in the early part of the playoffs but has recovered well and looks in pristine shape and condition. The All-Star is one of the most balanced players on the Celtics roster and Ime Udoka will be relying on Brown to carry the Boston outfit to victory on Monday night.
