In what promises to be a mouthwatering clash, the Golden State Warriors will square off against the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA FInals. The highly-anticipated encounter between the two teams will take place at the TD Garden on Wednesday, June 8th.
The Celtics have been incredible this year and much of it has been due to the brilliance of their star man Jayson Tatum. The 24-year old has taken his game to a whole new level and has become a vital part of Ime Udoka’s side. However, some NBA fans are curious to know whether Tatum will play in Game 3 vs the Warriors.
Is Jayson Tatum playing tonight? Update on Celtics star’s availability ahead of Game 3
The Boston Celtics released their injury report card earlier on Wednesday and Jayson Tatum was not on that listed. The Celtics listed Tatum as ‘availiable’ for Game 3 vs the Warriors. This means that the Celtics youngster is expected to play on Wednesday night barring any late injury or setback.
Tatum racked up 12 points, 13 assists and 5 rebounds and against the Warriors to help the Celtics win Game 1 of the series. He then followed that up with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists which went in vain in Game 2. Tatum is now expected to have a strong outing in Game 3 if the Celtics are expected to stand a chance of taking the lead in the series once again against the Warriors.
