While anchoring AM Joy, she rose to prominence as a figurehead of the anti-Trump “resistance”. Reid issued an apology for her “insensitive, tone-deaf, and dumb” statements in response to criticism. Reid criticised same-sex marriage in a different set of writings and said that straight people find male-to-male kissing repulsive.
Reid said that she didn’t recall publishing such posts and requested her solicitors to look into if her blog had been hacked. Wayback Machine, however, turned up no proof of hacking.
