Is Khris Middleton playing tonight? The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, April 27th at 7:30 PM ET (Thursday, April 28th at 5:00 AM IST).
The Milwaukee Bucks currently hold a 3-1 lead over the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The reigning champions are the favourites to go through to the next round but have a few concerns on their roster even if they make it to round 2.
One of the major causes for concern for Mike Budenholzer’s side is the unavailability of Khris Middleton. The three-time All-Star has been suffering from a knee injury. Heading into an important Game 5 of the series against the Bulls, here’s an update on Khris Middleton’s injury.
Is Khris Middleton playing tonight vs Bulls?
Khris Middleton will not be available for the Bucks on Wednesday. The 30-year-old has been out of action for the defending NBA champions since April 20th, when the Bucks lost their only game (Game 2) of the series against the Bulls.
Khris Middleton injury update
Middleton has been integral to the Bucks’ success over the past few seasons. However, the Eastern Conference giants will have to find a way of winning games without one of the best players for the next 2-3 weeks, which is how long Middleton is expected to be out for.
Middleton was asked about whether he would be able to play in the next round if the Bucks manage to get past the Bulls. He said, “I hope so. For sure, they say two weeks. Hopefully, I’ll be ready or close to getting back to the court around then.”
