Paige has teased a return to the WWE in recent weeks

Former WWE Divas Champion Paige joked about a WWE return at the 2020 Royal Rumble to face Brock Lesnar.

The British star hasn’t wrestled for almost a couple of years due to an injury. Paige has been seen on Raw and SmackDown as a GM or manager but has teased a return in recent weeks.

She first posted that 2020 was going to see a lot of her and there was more to come. That got some fans speculating on her future and the former champion decided to have some fun regarding her return.

Paige tweeted a clipping of her coming down the ramp imitating Hulk Hogan and claimed she wanted to enter the Royal Rumble in the second position.

Brock Lesnar shook the WWE Universe in the previous episode. The WWE Champion confirmed his participation in the Royal Rumble as the first entrant.

Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s advocate, claimed that the champion wanted to highlight his dominance by winning the Rumble by starting in it.

That would be an incredible feat, especially given that it would take close to an hour for Lesnar to eliminate or survive till the other 29 men were thrown out.

Paige coming back?

Nia Jax was one of the stars that loved Paige’s tweet and it will be interesting to see if WWE sanctions a return for the former champion.

They have done it for other stars with serious injuries, Daniel Bryan being the biggest example.
