Is Paige set for a WWE return after her posts on Twitter?

WWE star Paige shared a few updates on Twitter hinting that a return to the ring could be on the cards in 2020.

The former Divas champion hasn’t wrestled since 2018 and retired from in-ring competition due to a serious neck injury suffered in a house show.

Paige holds the record for being the youngest Divas champion but has been seen in a managerial role since retiring from the ring.

The former champion was also the manager of the Kabuki Warriors for a point but is now seen on other WWE shows.

Many stars have returned from serious injuries in the past, such as Daniel Bryan, and Paige first spoke about some of her transgressions in the past.

She spoke about the leak which affected her time in WWE but claimed that 2020 was going to be big for her.

Suggesting that her “glory days” were far from over hints that she could come back to in-ring action, and she went on to say that there was a lot left in her career.

Paige’s comeback would be great

Paige was one of the best when she had to retire from in-ring competition. The former champion would have an incredible time in the women’s division thanks to all the talent on show.

Paige in a constant battle against the likes of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair or even Asuka would be incredible.

She could also feature in the 2020 Royal Rumble and have a bit of a cameo in the women’s match too.

WWE has to be careful with a return for Paige though, she could pick up a serious injury again, and that would question their decision to bring her back.

However, the promotion has been great with Bryan’s return from an injury, and it will be interesting to see if they take the same route with Paige.
