Is Steph Curry playing tonight? The Golden State Warriors square off against the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 16th.
The Golden State Warriors will travel to the TD Garden on Thursday, June 16th to face the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals. The highly-anticipated clash is expected to begin at 9:00 PM ET (Friday, June 17th at 6:30 AM IST).
The Warriors took a 3-2 lead in the series after Andrew Wiggins’ heroics on Monday night at the Chase Center. However, on a rather strange note, it was Steph Curry who struggled to get his shooting range against the Celtics.
Although Curry managed 16 points in total in Game 5, he converted only 7 of his 22 FGs and was 0-9 from behind the arc. The man who is usually reliable to get in 3-pointers on a regular basis failed to convert even a single shot from long range. Fans, therefore have been wondering whether Curry will be playing in Game 6 of the NBA Finals given his poor form or whether he is struggling from an injury.
Is Steph Curry playing tonight vs Celtics in Game 6?
The Warriors released their injury report card on Thursday and Curry was not on that list. This means that the 33-year-old is available and fit to play in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Curry is usually the man to dig the Warriors out of a tough spot when required. There is a high chance that Steve Kerr’s side will need him to be at his best against the Celtics on Thursday.
