Is Steph Curry playing tonight vs Celtics? The Golden State Warriors will lock horns with the Boston Celtics for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday, June 13th.
In what promises to be yet another 2022 NBA Finals clash, the Golden State Warriors will square off against the Boston Celtics in Game 5 on Monday, June 13th. The highly-anticipated contest between the two teams is scheduled to commence at 9:00 PM ET.
The NBA Finals series is currently locked at 2-2 after four games. On Friday, the Warriors managed to edge out a victory over the Boston side thanks to the brilliance of Steph Curry. The NBA legend managed 43 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to propel the Warriors to victory. Now, fans are curious to know whether Curry will be able to play in Game 5 as well.
Earlier on Monday, the Golden State Warriors released their injury report card for Game 5 of the NBA Finals and Steph Curry was not on that list. This means that Curry is available and expected to play against the Celtics tonight barring any late injury or setback.
Curry was a doubt to play in Game 4 after he sustained a leg injury following a collision with Al Horford. The Celtics big man appeared to roll over on Curry’s leg and it caused concern for the entire Warriors franchise as their star man was writhing in pain. However, Curry declared himself fit for Game 4 and put in a stellar display.
Now, Curry will be hoping to get his team over the line once again as the action shifts to the Chase Center.
