Is Steph Curry playing tonight? The Golden State Warriors will lock horns with the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the first-round NBA playoffs on Wednesday, April 27th at 10 PM ET (Thursday, April 28th at 7:30 AM IST).
The Warriors are currently leading the Nuggets 3-1 in the first-round series of the NBA Playoffs. However, some NBA fans are still eager to know whether Warriors icon Steph Curry will play in Game 5 of the series.
Curry has been struggling with a foot injury and missed a number of games during the end of the regular season. During a game against the Boston Celtics at Chase Center in March, Marcus Smart collided with Curry as the Celtics guard dove on the floor for a loose ball. Curry had to check out of the game and did not return for the Warriors.
It was later revealed that Curry had been diagnosed with a sprained ligament in his left foot. The injury, however, has not seemed to hamper the three-time NBA champion after missing a few weeks at the end of the regular season.
Curry is no longer on the injury list for the Warriors and barring any late injury, he is expected to play against the Nuggets. Curry was on a minutes restriction for all the four games vs the Nuggets in the playoffs.
He did not start any of the games against the Nuggets and was brought on from the bench. However, the 34-year-old is tipped to start in Game 5 vs the Nuggets.
